Conditions of Transport

For all domestic transport it is preferred that the cat has received age-appropriate vaccinations, preferably at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled trip. Microchip is not required, but preferred. We will not accept to ship kittens younger that 12 weeks.

For all international transport the cat must be microchipped and have all the conditions fulfilled as per the requirements of the country of import.

Cat must be healthy and fit to travel. If it is showing any signs of sickness, it will not be allowed to travel.

Cat traveling by air must be transported in accordance with the container requirements specified in the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Live Animals Regulations. Cat traveling by land must be in a safe, clean sturdy carrier with safety locking mechanism – airline approved carriers are preferred.

If the cat that is flying is not presented in a suitable airline approved carrier, you will need to purchase one of ours. If your cat is traveling in one of our crates, cat must be delivered in a carrier and then safely transfer it into our crate. If cat is delivered to us without the carrier, we will not accept it.

We can accept Petmate carriers or PP series (PP20, PP30 etc) - please see examples below. If you have anything else, please send us a photo so we can check if it is acceptable.

Payment in full is due at least 48 hours prior to the departure of the pet. Cat's Cradle is not liable for any additional charges or missed flights if pets are presented to us too late. In the event of cancellation Cat's Cradle will refund, at Cat's Cradle's sole discretion, any not expended portion of the clients payment after deduction of any direct and indirect expenses incurred .

If animal requires any veterinary attention while in our care, the client authorizes Cat's Cradle to seek veterinary treatment. Any veterinary costs are payable by the client.

While we will do everything we can to ensure safety of your animal, Cat's Cradle are not to be held responsible if animal gets sick, injured or if it dies while traveling.
